In the U.S. Virgin
Islands, American culture meets the relaxed Caribbean lifestyle. On
St. Thomas, a panorama of lush green hills provides a dramatic contrast
to shimmering bays and white sand beaches. As the main island of the
group, St. Thomas also offers the greatest concentration of restaurants
and nightlife. The island's main town is the bustling port of Charlotte
Amalie, a few miles south of Magens Bay and its famous heart-shaped
beach. In town, which preserves many old Danish colonial buildings,
you can take advantage of duty-free shopping and enjoy delectable meals
in a wide range of restaurants.
The Virgin
Islands have attracted roving sailors since the days of the pirate Blackbeard,
and sailing charters are readily available, as are all watersports.
For a change of pace, you can take a day trip to St. John, just a short
distance to the east, and discover the quiet beaches and tropical forests
of Virgin Islands National Park.
Most of our
villas are on the beautiful northern coast of St. Thomas, in dramatic
cliffside settings a short walk or drive from Magens Bay and other pristine
beaches. These exceptional properties feature panoramic views of the
sea and coastline, and nearly all offer private pools. The typical villa
is built in very attractive, contemporary style and features large picture
windows, glass doors, and terraces for sunbathing and savoring the views.
These villas are generally U.S.-owned and equipped to U.S. standards,
perhaps more so than on any other Caribbean island. You will enjoy a
high level of comfort and privacy, yet the boutiques, restaurants, and
nightlife of Charlotte Amalie will be just a few minutes away. Tennis
and golf are also available on the island.

INTERIORS
1-6 bedrooms, 1-6 bathrooms, living room, dining area, fully equipped
kitchen, and terraces. Furnishings range from comfortable and modern
to tasteful and very attractive. Most villas offer phone, cable TV,
VCR, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Many offer air conditioning in some
bedrooms.
