THE AREA
The cosmopolitan resort of Méribel is set in the middle of the
Trois Vallées ("the Three Valleys"), between Courchevel
and Val-Thorens. This extensive, interlinked ski area includes some
of the finest slopes in Europe, and offers something for everyone, from
beginners to Olympic-level competitors. You can try your hand at just
about any winter sport -- including ice skating, snowboarding, and snowshoeing
-- or even go hang-gliding over the pristine mountain valleys of Savoy.

THE PROPERTIES
Chalet Hilary
offers ski-in, ski-out convenience in a setting of warm, inviting elegance.
This deluxe property can be rented as a complete chalet, or (for much
of the winter) on a per-room/private bath basis, to couples and small
groups who will share the chalet with other congenial guests -- the
chalet equivalent of a "house party." The chalet features
beautiful woodwork and carpets, a wonderful stone fireplace, and the
very best of furnishings. A large terrace faces south with fine views
of Mont Vallon. After a day on the slopes, you can return to your own
sauna and a 4-meter long open-air jacuzzi with wave machine. A chef
can prepare gourmet meals, and the live-in staff will look after your
every need. Just a minute or so from two of the town's best restaurants,
the chalet is also close to ski rental shops and the children's ski
school.
