stay at this elegant 17th-century mansion is like a step back
in time to the heyday of the British country house. Steeped in
history, Brynkin House has been the seat of the Trevor family
for more than a thousand years. Situated amid two thousand acres
of parkland, woodland, and formal gardens, this 10 bedroom, 8
bathroom estate offers the highest level of comfort. On the ground
floor is the impressive Great Hall, with a wonderful collection
of paintings and a flying staircase which leads to the first floor
gallery. There are also numerous reception rooms. Today, when
the house is not occupied by guests, it is the residence of the
fifth Baron Trevor. In keeping with the family's history and tradition,
all guests at Brynkin House are looked after in meticulous style.
Service includes full-time cooking, cleaning, and maintenance
staff who meet every need. For entertainment, a wide range of
outdoor activities can be arranged, including clay pigeon shooting
and hot air ballooning. The glorious countryside of North Wales,
including Mount Snowdon, the historic city of Chester, and Snowdonia
National Park, is just a short drive away.
