The Mill
is just an hour from Dublin, set on 300 acres near a river. The
beautiful stone buildings of this old mill have been carefully renovated;
we feature two of the four cottages, which share an enclosed garden.
A spring water source is on site, and wood stoves enhance the rustic
atmosphere. The nearest shops are 2 miles away. This area offers
golf at Ardee, horseback riding, and sandy beaches at the coast.
On the mill property, you can go fishing or enjoy a country walk.
Archaeology buffs should not miss Newgrange, where a 5000-year-old
stone tomb gives a glimpse into Ireland's past.
These spacious cottages feature comfortable, traditional furnishings
and wood floors. They include 2-3 bedrooms (one double, the
other(s) twin/double), bathroom, large living room, and fully equipped
kitchen/dining area. Each offers TV, radio/cassette player, microwave,
dishwasher, and shared washer/dryer. VCR, crib, and high chair on
request. Linen and towels included. Wood stove with initial fuel
supply (wood available locally). Care should be taken with children
due to river access; the property may be unsuitable for those with
trouble walking.
