have been featured in "Hidden Gardens of Ireland." The
property is in inland County Tipperary, an hour southwest of medieval
Kilkenny and its massive 13th-century castle. This home shares a
quiet, cobbled courtyard with another cottage, and offers its own
garden and terrace. (There is limited access to the estate's main
gardens.) In the ancient Norman town of Fethard, 3 miles away, you
will find the nearest pub and local shops. Day trips might take
you west to the Rock of Cashel, where medieval buildings perch atop
a limestone outcrop; or southeast to Waterford, the home of Irish
crystal.
The Cottage features antique furnishings and wood floors in the
bedrooms. It offers 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin), 2-1/2 bathrooms,
living room with wood stove (includes initial wood supply), dining
room, and fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen with door to back
garden. TV, VCR, radio, washing machine. Linens included.
