The Baltinglass
Cottages are located in the lush, green countryside of inland County
Wicklow (south of Dublin). The property is about an hour's drive
from both Dublin and the beach at Brittas Bay. Both cottages are
listed as Irish Heritage Buildings; they will charm any lover of
Ireland with their picturesque stone architecture and views of the
Wicklow Mountains. Doyles Lodge is a separate cottage, and Lennons
Lodge is an original gate lodge, built into the estate's stone entrance
gates (and featuring a kitchen built into a turret). Inside, simple
cottage-style furnishings suit these homes perfectly. The cottages
are surrounded by the woods and fields of the estate. Golf, tennis,
riding, and the essential pub are all 3 miles away, and you can
walk to the local trout fishing spot.
Each lodge includes a double bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining
area, and fully equipped kitchen. Doyles Lodge offers a VCR, while
Lennons has a microwave. Both have an open fire (heats boiler and
radiators; wood included), TV, and washing machine. Bedlinens and
towels included.

delightful old farm is an hour south of Dublin, less than 10
minutes' drive from Brittas Bay and its superb long, sandy beach.
Brittas Bay is not only a favorite escape for Dubliners, it
is also a good starting point for excursions throughout County
Wicklow, known as "the Garden of Ireland." This region
offers a string of beaches along the coast, while inland, the
Wicklow Mountains were made for country walks. This property
nestled in the green countryside offers a choice of accommodations:
a cottage, three apartments set in the old stone stables (now
beautifully converted), and an apartment adjoining the main
house. On the grounds, you will find an enclosed garden, a barbecue,
a games room, and several outdoor play areas for children. This
is a great location in a very picturesque part of Ireland, with
several golf courses nearby, and Wicklow town just 8 miles away.
The cottages
and apartments offer 2-3 bedrooms (with extra bed), bathroom,
living room, and fully equipped kitchen and dining area. TV,
