thatched cottage offers lots of traditional charm, in an excellent
location 10 miles from the town of Sligo. The property features
wonderful views across the harbor, as well as views of Benbulben,
the mountain that is one of Ireland's most dramatic natural landmarks.
The cottage has been carefully restored, preserving original details
such as beamed ceilings in one of the bedrooms. The property includes
a large garden. Fishing, golf, and horseback riding are available
locally, and several fishing villages are nearby. It is just a
mile to the nearest shops. This part of County Sligo has many
associations with the great Irish poet William Butler Yeats; a
visitor center in Sligo provides a wonderful introduction to Yeats
and to local points of interest.

comprises 2 bedrooms (double, twin), 1 bathroom, large living/dining
room with sofabed, and fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen.
