BERETTA APARTMENTS Riva del Garda for 5-6 These apartments are in the historic center of Riva, the oldest resort on Lake Garda. This ancient town at the lake's far northern end charms visitors with its gentle climate, lakefront promenade, and castle (now a museum). Riva is known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere; today, the resort has also become a popular windsurfing center and a good base for day hikes in the mountains. The Beretta Apartments are in a remodeled building near the harbor, with easy access to Riva's old town, a warren of narrow streets. You can walk everywhere, to shops, tennis courts, the mountain railway stop-and to the lakefront, which is within 5 minutes' walk.
