THE AREA
Situated 4 miles west of Marbella, and framed between the Mediterranean
and the mountains of the Sierra Blanca, is the exclusive resort of Puerto
Banus. This fashionable resort offers something for everyone. A playground
of the rich and famous, Puerto Banus is the site of the largest yacht
harbor on the Costa del Sol. For sunbathers, there are sandy beaches
that stretch on both sides of the harbor. In the waters off the coast,
you can waterski, windsurf, sail, or enjoy deep-sea fishing. Other sports
facilities include tennis courts, golf courses and riding stables. For
people-watching, there is no better place than the harbor of Puerto
Banus, where designer boutiques, sidewalk cafés, fashionable
restaurants and nightclubs line the waterfront promenade. It is just
a few minutes' drive to the beaches and nightlife of Marbella, and you
can plan day trips throughout southern Spain. Within a few hours' drive
are the historic cities of Seville, Granada, and Cordoba, and the unspoiled

Trent-Jones course once used for the World Cup), Nueva Andalucia is
an ideal destination for avid golfers. Each group of townhouses and
apartments offers a swimming pool, often shared between as few as 6-10
apartments or townhouses. Some
excellent 3-5 bedroom villas with private pools are also available on
