THE AREA
The cosmopolitan city of Geneva has been called the diplomatic capital of Europe. Lying at the western end of Lake Geneva, the city is home to many international organizations, including the United Nations and the Red Cross. A sparkling, modern city, Geneva offers excellent restaurants and cafés, superb shopping districts, and an outstanding cultural life. Recreational opportunities abound, with the Alps and a vast array of ski resorts only a 30-minute drive away.

As a starting-point for day trips, Geneva is an ideal central European base. From here you can easily explore other parts of Switzerland as well as destinations in France, including the famous mineral water spas of Evian, on the French side of Lake Geneva.

PROPERTIES

The residence is only a 10-minute walk from the main downtown shopping area, and just 2-3 minutes' walk from the railway station. Two-bedroom duplex/penthouse apartments include 2 twin bedrooms, 2 living rooms each with a double sofabed, 2 bathrooms, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. Studio apartments are available, as well. The apartments offer tasteful, comfortable furnishings, plus TV, radio, and telephone. Elevator in building.
