THE AREA
Picture yourself strolling down a long stretch of sandy beach, under
a dazzling blue sky, with gentle waves lapping at the shore. This is
Cancun, where conditions are nearly always perfect for swimming, snorkeling
or diving in warm, crystal-clear waters. Archaeology buffs can plan
a day trip to the monumental Mayan ruins of Tulum, on the coast not
far away. But perhaps you'll choose to just relax beside the pool and
enjoy the year-round tropical climate. Cancun is one of Mexico's premier
resorts, and in the evenings, you will find many excellent restaurants,
as well as a vibrant array of bars and nightclubs.
The Quintana
Villas are set in a private compound on the shores of the Caribbean,
just outside the town of Cancun where the beach hotels begin. This is
a unique enclave of just over twenty residences - the only villas available
in Cancun. Some villas are set directly on the beach, with fabulous
views of Isla Mujeres. All of the villas share a beautiful freeform
pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens, plus two tennis courts and
a basketball court. You will be only five minutes' walk from the marina
and watersports, and just two miles away is an 18-hole golf course.
There is an excellent restaurant within the compound, and room service
is available to your villa. The services of a private cook can be arranged,
if you desire.
INTERIORS
Each villa
comprises 2-5 bedrooms, 2-5 bathrooms, living room, dining area and
fully equipped kitchen. All are comfortably furnished in traditional
Mexican colonial style, and offer telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning
and purified drinking water. Some villas can be subdivided into studio
and 1-bedroom units.
