Ideal for visiting all of Provence by its central setting it is also a good base for those that wish to enjoy the international arts and theatre Festival D'Avignon that is held every year at the beginning of July. And of course all the famous vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone are nearby; Chateauneuf du Pape, Lirac, Tavel to name just a few.
Shopping: The local villages have a bakers but more shopping can be done at Villeneuve Les Avignon at a short drive. There are of course a great choice of local markets for fresh produce and of course the orchard at the house for seasonal fruit !
