Villa Grosjean is a beautiful property set on the pine-scented hillside of the Gorges du Loup. From the vine terrace are breathtaking views over the medieval ‘villages perches’ of Le Bar-sur-Loup and Gourdon with the mountains of the Gorge rising in the background. This spacious country property, providing luxury accommodation for 10-12 people, is built in traditional Provençal style, with terracotta tiled roof and wooden shutters.
It consists of a large five bedroom house and an independent studio apartment offering a further 1/2 double bedrooms/ living room. In the main house there’s a big family living room with big comfy sofas and full length picture windows leading out onto a panoramic vine terrace, pool and gardens.
Downstairs is a master bedroom with its own dressing room and en-suite double bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom next door sharing a large bathroom. Upstairs is a pretty double bedroom, bathroom and a twin bedroom with magnificent views over the gorge. Above the main house is an independent studio apartment which has a traditional double bedroom with exposed beams, opening out onto a small private terrace and lawn. Adjacent is a living room with a double sofa bed, bathroom and kitchen area with sink, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.
Around the pool is an extensive pool terrace with lots of sun beds, parasols, children’s water slide, poolside family BBQ (gas) and teak table and chairs. An established vine terrace, leading out from the living room, offers shade for alfresco dining at a long 12-seater teak table overlooking spectacular views of the gorge and the village and the pool and gardens.
On one side of the terrace is a traditional stone-built BBQ and a real, wood-burning pizza oven.
Extras: TV, video/DVD, video library (100 films plus over 30 children’s favourites), music centre, children’s toys and games chest. A children’s playground and sandpit, boules pitch (floodlit at night) and orchard. Linens & towels changed weekly and weekly cleaning
