This is a pretty house with a swimming pool overlooking Hydra’s Harbour - available to rent for 2 to 4 persons. There are two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and windows with sunset views. The pool is 6x4m and 3m deep with a flush front wall so you can admire the spectacular view of the jewel-like port with endless traffic of yachts and boats gliding in and out while you swim.
You are close to the port, with fantastic views of the harbour and the magnificent sunsets, but not too close to town. So there is a feeling of privacy and luxury, but you are not too high up the hill to make the climb a chore.
The house is well equipped and furnished with all conveniences but no TV! The kitchen is sweet and small, well equipped with a large fridge and an electric stove and of course all the necessary cooking utensils and serving dishes so you can eat at home.
On the mountain side of the house, there is a small courtyard, where yellow and white jasmine, as well as other aromatic plants, grow. The courtyard is ideal for relaxing in the cooling shade away from the midday sun. From the port you follow the zig-zag path between the Merchant Seamans' College and the museum, which takes about 10-12 minutes at a steady walking pace.
Animals are welcome, on condition they are very well trained.
Linen is changed once a week, unless otherwise agreed.
