This detached house in 1ha of beatiful grounds has been the holiday destination of French TV stars. A labour of love for the present owners who have spend 12 years renovating and collecting the many antiques and paintings that decorate the house. As well as a covered pool, the house benefits from a semi-private studio with its own fully fitted kitchen should an older member of your party wish more privacy, or you wish to take your au-pair on holiday with you. As you enter this beautiful house you are struck by the feeling of space - 140m2 of living room area for example, ensures that no-one steps on anyone else's toes! There is a separate breakfast area off the open-plan American kitchen and bar, where bright copper pans shine on display, and you can heat up your croissants without disturbing the main cooking area. Your hosts ar ex-restarateurs, so every detail has been attended to in this design. In this area you find the first TV! - more to follow! There is a handy downstairs loo under the stairs. Moving on, you discover the imposing carved oak staircase, with a sparkling chandelier to top it off. Beyond this is the dining area with large picture window filled with plants overlooking the terrace with its ping-pong table. The owners thoughtfully provide two marquees in the summer for outside dining. A billiard table leads on to the cosy salon area where armchairs and sofas are grouped around the granite fireplace. In the winter you will find the house decorated complete with Christmas tree! As well as french television, there is satellite and Canal +. Upstairs we find a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, provision for a single bed on the landing, and two further double bedrooms one of which has accomodation for two twins or one double bed on its mezzanine - kids love climbing up there to their 'den'! An elegantly appointed bathroom is found off the corridor. Granny or the au-pair can be privately accomodated in the pretty studio with its charming fireplace, full kitchen facilities and private terrace/entrance.
