Large Character House with Pool and Separate Guest House Les Rochers, near Saulx-les-Chartreux. 15 miles south of Paris. 6 bedrooms, sleeps up to 18 people A large character house (200 m²) situated 15 miles south of Paris at Les Rochers, near Saulx-les-Chartreux, in the department of Essonne, on a hilltop overlooking wooded garden of 2,000 m², with a second two room house adjacent, an ideal location to see the sights of Paris and surrounding areas (Disneyland within easy reach) Main House Reception room (two convertible couches) with dining area for 8. 2nd reception room (one convertible couch) with second dining table if necessary. Television room with television and Pal/Secam video plus one convertible clic-clac couch ( a convertible settee with normal size thick mattress and therefore very comfortable) - sleeps 2. Fully equipped kitchen with combined microwave/traditional oven/grill (Philips Whirlpool), hot plates, fridge, standard washing-up machine; large freezer in loggia just outside kitchen (washing machine and electric clothes dryer in garage). Two clic-clac couches, table/chairs for 4 1 bedroom – sleeps 3. 1 double bed + 1 single bed 1 bathroom/washbasin/wc Kitchen fitted with fridge, hotplates, oven/grill, washing machine and bar for 3 people with circular staircase leading to bedroom Clothes dryer (electric) The property has complete privacy, faces south and is very sunny. There is a commercial centre with hypermarket and many restaurants (all price ranges from McDonald’s and self-service to more select restaurants). The main road to Paris is 1 kilometre away and goes to Porte d’Orleans or Porte d’Italie which takes only 15/20 minutes by car in off-peak times. The house is a 3 mile/5 kilometer drive from the nearest station which has a very large free car park. The express train to the centre of Paris takes 30 minutes. (RER line C). Outdoor heated swimming pool 20 m² separating the two houses in second paved courtyard Central heating throughout, plus English-type electric fires in reception rooms and television room. Garden furniture/sun loungers swing available, plus outside dining table for 12 (and smaller additional table if necessary) plus gas barbecue. Garage for 1 car and space for 1 car outside garage but inside wall. All bed linen and towels are provided, plus place settings for the tables.
