The Vaucluse region is renowned for its wines, including Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and Beaumes de Venise. There are great markets in nearby Carpentras and Vaison-la-Romaine, a wide choice of shops and restaurants in the surrounding villages and the large towns of Orange and Avignon are just 30 mins drive.
