The Main house is composed of two levels of living space. On the main floor, an "open plan" great room encompasses the living room with stone fireplace, dinning area overlooking the garden, and kitchen with hand carved "country French" wood cabinets, island, tile countertops, and all modern appliances. The furnishings are of high standard, antiques, oriental rugs and lovely décor. The floors throughout are tiles of the region. A queen sized bedroom can be found on this level. There is also a WC, a shower room, a laundry room, cellar, and two closets on this floor.
On the first level, you will find three well appointed bedrooms and one full bathroom. The very large Master bedroom has a queen size bed, and private balcony open to the 180-degree panoramic views. The second bedroom has a double bed size and the third has bunk beds, which are the standard twin size. Both have windows for views and added brightness.
This is an ideal vacation/ rental home, very comfortable for up to eight persons.
A recent addition to the villa is a huge terrace, making an open area with 270 degree views. It is large enough to accommodate up to ten people comfortably. It is an area you will find hard to leave. Views, comfort to the house and in the garden. Just wonderful.
The terraced garden provides unusual serenity in its private areas. There are also many productive fruit trees: clementines, peaches, plums, oranges, kiwi, and walnuts, olives, and much more. The kiwi arbor is attached to the "Maiset", a lovely 500 year-old stone cottage, which will be restored as a guest accommodation in the future. Presently, its charm adds ambience and an ideal setting for a picnic. The opportunity to harvest and cook with fresh fruit while enjoying the scenery and solitude of the country makes this villa a slice of heaven.
However, as Vence is short walk away, the amenities of the village, especially fresh baguettes every morning, are very close indeed.
