One wing of the castle, which dates from the 17th century, has been totally refurbished under the direction of David Hicks and is available to rent exclusively. The main reception rooms are furnished with antique pieces and house part of an interesting art collection.
Ground floor: Imposing stone-flagged double vaulted entrance. Dining hall, with seating for 12. Large drawing room with open fire. Grand Hall, with minstrel's gallery (seats 28). Large, fully-fitted kitchen, with Aga and farmhouse table (seats 10). Inner hall and cloakroom.

Amenities on site include all-weather hard tennis court (in the old walled garden), private coarse and pike fishing, shooting and stalking (advance notice required), boat hire to explore the lakes and islands, and walking in the surrounding countryside.
Other attractions in the area are the town, 13 km (8 miles) away, with its excellent range of shops and restaurants, as well as the National Trust properties of Castle Coole, Florence Court and Crom. The magnificent beaches of County Donegal and Belleek, home of the famous pottery, are approximately 45 minutes away.
