Villa Diskopa is situated in a village, 18 km southeast of Heraklion. The village itself has a maze of narrow streets, old stone houses, peaceful squares, unpretentious taverns and a selection of shop, where you find almost everything you need.
There is a nice countryside around the village with nive view to the mountains of Psiloritis and Lassithi.
Villa Diskopi is a restored venetian house which was built in 1890.It is traditionnaly furnished providing all necessary equipment.The main door leads into the little kitchen with full cooker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher (as well as the original marble sink). The kitchen leads into the dining room, which has a sunken sitting area with a mezzanine-sleeping gallery with two single beds over head. There is a separate bathroom with bath .The master bedroom double bed and the living room with fireplace, TV and video both lead out to the pool and terrace.
The courtyard wing: The lower door leads you to a downstairs bathroom with shower and washing machine.
On the first floor with a separate outside entrance, there are two inter-connecting bedrooms, 1 twin room leading into a double room.
On the exterior of the house there is a beautiful terrace just next to the pool (13m x 6m/1.35x2.2m)which is automatically lit and cleaned according to health regulation, with patio furniture and beautiful garden.
A car is considered to be essential for exploring the area and the whole area.
