A market is held in each of the local towns on a certain day of the week and there are excellent shops and restaurants. In the area there are 8 golf courses, water-sports, diving, fishing, horse-riding, tennis, quads, paintball activities etc. Calonge is one of the best located towns on the Costa Brava.
