Casa Marita is located in the area of Riells in the beautiful Costa Brava village of L'Escala. The property is newly built. The house consists of two floors with entrance door to the front. From the front door the main living area is found with kitchen, Utility area and dining area. A double bedroom with twin beds is located on this floor as is the shower room/W.C. The upper floor has a two bedrooms one with twin single beds and a double bedroom. Also upstairs is a bathroom with shower and W.C. Outside a private pool is located in a private garden with terraces and a shaded area at the rear. The beach of Riells is located at about 15 mins walk. The beachfront has numerous bars and restaurants. Local supermarkets are also located here. The Spanish seaside village of L'Escala is situated on the Mediterranean, 50km south of the French-Spanish border and 140km north of Barcelona. L'Escala is a cosmopolitan village, boasting 6 clean and safe beaches offering every water sport. There are many speciality restaurants, dozens of cafes and bars, a yacht marina, fishing harbour and extensive Greco Roman ruins at nearby Empuries. High season brings a fun fair and a variety of beach side restaurants are open with an abundance of choice. The absence of any high-rise buildings gives it a bright and friendly atmosphere. Its geographical position makes it an ideal base for travelling further a field. Nearby Figueres was home to the famous artist Salvador Dali. Then there are the 'Villages Typiques' just north of the border near Perpignan. To the south there is the provincial capital of Gerona and the capital of Catalonia - Barcelona. To the west is the lake at Banyoles, Ripoll, duty free Andorra and the snow-capped Pyrenees with skiing for many months of the year. 2km north lays the walled medieval village of St. Marti with its pleasant Plaza Major, many bistros and pretty church and museum.
