The apartment is 110m² in size and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. It has four single beds which can easily pushed together making two double beds, one "real" double bed and two sturdy sofas which can easily be folded out - so that during the day the lovely room can be used as a living room - with a hifi stereo system and cable-TV. One of the apartment's highlights is the south-facing balcony where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the city - from here there isn't a car in sight. In spring 2006 a park has been planned for the triangle between Oranienburger Straße, Große Hamburger Straße and Krausnickstraße. The "Fire Bar" - a Berlin underground-style lounge - is in the building and from 8pm serves as a house-bar and meeting spot. Next located public transportation: S Trainstation Oranienburger Straße (approx. 100 m distance) S Trainstation Hackescher Markt (approx. 400 m distance) Live in Berlin-Mitte? The apartment is a real dream flat on the 1st floor of a renovated traditional Berlin tenement ("Altbau") five minutes away from Hackescher Markt. Despite the next street being a main road, Krausnickstraße is one of the most peaceful in Berlin-Mitte. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to reach Alexanderplatz in one direction - the same goes for the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag in the other.
