Casa Montanero is a large, stone-faced farmhouse about 2 km from a small village, lying just 9 kms from Montalcino, famous for the splendid romanesque abbey of Sant'Antimo. The whole of this part of the province of Siena is particularly well-known for the vineyards here that produce Brunello di Montalcino, one of the most sought-after italian wines. The renovation of the villa has been very carefully done, both in the choice of materials used, and for the way they have respected the old Tuscan traditions. The project envisaged maintaining the old look of the building while equipping the villa with every possible modern comfort. And while the valuable furnishings are mostly classic 19th century, the house has air-conditioning in the bedrooms, a sauna with turkish bath system, an outside Jacuzzi for 6 people, an office with PC and internet connection, a professional kitchen suitable for cooking courses, and a telephone. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with hydromassage tub, and on the ground floor there is a bedroom with bathroom suitable for the disabled. In the large outside area guests have a dining-area at their disposal, sun-bathing area and the private 6x12m swimming-pool. Siena is 55 kms away and Florence 125 kms.
GROUND FLOOR: entrance, two connected living-rooms with large fireplace, dining-room, professional kitchen with larder and WC, office with PC and internet connection, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower for the disabled, sauna with turkish bath system and dressing-room and bathroom with shower.
