This comfortable, inviting cabin is located in a quiet, private area within walking
distance of Banner Elk, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.
The one-acre property sits at a 4,900-foot elevation. From the front porch, you will
have
views of Grandfather Mountain, which is just 2 miles down the road and is
famous for its mile-high swinging bridge. The Blue Ridge Mountains offer many beautiful
areas suitable for hiking and camping, including Linville Gorge, the deepest gorge east
of
the Mississippi. (Camping and hiking are by permit only.) Banner Elk also boasts four
excellent golf courses, including one designed by Jack Nicklaus.
For
winter visitors, the local ski slopes include Beech Mountain and Sugar
Mountain,
both within a few miles of the cabin. Snow tubing and an outdoor ice skating rink are
also
available within a short drive.
The cabin is comfortably furnished and includes

bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and large
covered
porch. The cabin also features a fireplace, ceiling fans, and partial air
conditioning. Personal chef available.
