Villa D'Arwen, a sanctuary of peace and tranquillity in its 5 acre park, is at last revealed in all its splendour. Built as the owner’s family home, after 20 years a house with seven bedrooms became too big and four years ago it was turned into a luxury guest house, all of the very highest quality, now run by father and son. The majestic old residence with its charming and peaceful garden stands proudly in the heart of the Marrakech palm grove, facing the snow-covered Atlas Mountains. You will be enchanted by all that it has to offer, whether for a week end, a formal lunch, or a candle-lit dinner in a veranda by the pool or one of the saloons. What a way to discover Marrakech? Described by previous visitors as a positive mirage and a place of everlasting wonder, the property is there to fulfil your every wish. You can take your time to relax, enjoy the hamam(steam bath) and sauna, or sunbathe by the palm-bordered swimming pool. It is also possible to taste the delights of Moroccan and international cuisine. The property comprises 1 room and 5 suites, each individually and richly decorated. In addition there is a detached little house in the grounds which has a bedroom, living room with fireplace, bathroom and terrace. Furnishings are a mixture of home-style comforts with an eclectic assortment of fine antiques amassed by the owner, plus discreet mod-cons (air conditioning, CD players, mini-bars, safes and cable TV). The heated pool is hard to resist, and at night, when adorned by lantern-light, the effect is stunning. There are two dining rooms (Moroccan and European). There is also a living room with fireplace, hammam and sauna. Guests are looked after by an attentive staff with 24-hour room service. There's also a private office (with fax, computer and internet) for those who find it hard to remain incommunicado. 1st Suite: Main house, upper floor. An en-suite bedroom with a private terrace having clear sky views, and a second terrace shared with the Mucha suite with view of the pool and gardens. A large living room with view of the entrance riad and fountain. Second suite Main house, upper floor. Decorated as part of a Swedish television series (Room Service), it has a private riad style terrace with pool and garden view. Third Suite Main house, ground Floor. A large room and large design bathroom. Room doors open up on the garden providing direct access to the pool. Fourth Suite Main house, ground Floor. A large living room with view and access to the patio of the two fountains riad. Marble decorated bathroom. Room doors open up on the garden providing direct access to the pool. Fifth and Sixth Suite Attached to the side of the main building. Living room with fireplace and direct access to the two fountains garden and the pool. Meals may be served on the shared veranda. The Tiwaline I is more private, while the Tiwaline II has a steam bath. Seventh Suite A separate building containg a suite. Private all-round terrace with direct access to the gardens and pool.
