Villa Porturro is a very elegant 19th century villa located half way between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense on the Sorrento Peninsula. Porturro is a large villa on two floors, with gardens to the back and front, bordring on other villa properties. Guests will enjoy breathtaking views over the coast and the sea as well as towards the island of Capri from the front garden and the large first floor balconies. At the heart of this villa is the internal courtyard. The courtyard gives access to all the rooms located on the ground floor, to the front garden with its swimming pool, to the shaded pergola which provides an external dining area, and finally to the semi-internal stairway leading to the upper floors. The courtyard is therefore the ideal venue for relaxing during the day. The villa is furnished with style and elegance, reflecting the taste of its Neapolitan owner. Guests at Porturro will be looked after by a local caretaker who, on request, can prepare and cook meals. The property sleeps 12 but a further 2 guests can be accommodated at extra cost. Ground Floor: From the ample parking space within the rear garden, you make your way into the central courtyard. To the right a French window leads into a spacious dining room with two circular tables of different size seating 18 in total. From the dining room, another French window opens to a second outside covered dining area. Inside, a corridor leads to the right to the kitchen, the stairway to the upper floor and two bathrooms with shower. To the left the corridor leads to a twin bedroom, two double bedrooms and at the end of the corridor a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms have French windows onto the courtyard. First Floor: Climbing the internal staircase, to the left there is a spacious living room with fireplace, which also opens onto the semi internal stairway taking you back down to the courtyard. To the right is a corridor on the right hand side of which are two bathrooms with shower serving two bedrooms with French size beds and extra pull out beds. At the end of the corridor, the master suite has a double bed, a walk in closet and an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower, as well as its own panoramic balcony with fantastic views over the sea and towards the island of Capri.
