Entering a large room on the top floor of this two storey house is a spacious bedroom with a double bed. The floors are polished pinewood and the ceilings open wood-beamed. Its many french windows provide a light and airy space and have spendid views from each. The cottage is immaculate and decorated in a traditional Skopeltian fashion. Near the entrance is a large w/c shower room and the far wall has a door leading to a balcony running the length of the house. The views from this lofty position are unobstructed and of velvety olive green hillsides and deep blue sea as far as you can see.
A wooden staircase leads to the lower level which is open plan with living room, dining area with a large wooden table next to a fireplace and a quaint country kitchen. This space, although large, is very homey and decorated with care and taste. The living room has comfortable sofas, one is a bed for a third person, and windows facing to the veranda and the stunning views beyond. From the living room is a door leading outside to a huge veranda with dining table, chairs and sun loungers for topping up your holiday tan. The cottage is through out decorated with authentique Skopelitian antique furniture and artwork.
This quite large, traditional house is perched nearly at the top of the hill behind Skopelos town. Its spacious outdoor areas are perfect for enjoying the Greek summer sun and warm star-lit evenings. They offer plenty of space and opportunity to take full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle of this lovely island. The views from the terrace are 180 degrees taking in the stone ruin of the Venetian fortress at the top of town, Alonissos in the distance and the monasteries on the hillsides across from the cottage. In the opposite direction the you can see down through the Stafilos Valley to opposite side of the island, with seaviews to Evia island beyond.

The surrounding hillsides are covered with old donkey trails and dirt tracks for those who like to explore by foot. The small beach of Glyfoneri can be reached in approximately 1 hour by foot and has a small selection of local tavernas, hanging above the sea with views across to the neighbouring island of Alonissos.
