The central part of the villa and the right wing have recently been totally restored, maintaining the cotto floors and the beamed ceilings, yet adding all modern comforts. To the front of the villa, there is a beautiful stone courtyard and, just 50 meters away, a swimming pool that was completed for the 2001 season. Villa Lopio is situated in the Pisan countryside, just 15 minutes drive from the medieval village of Castelfalfi, now a holiday resort with swimming pool, tennis court and 18 hole golf course.
