Mayhope House is a comfortable detached Victorian family house in an enviable position just 20 yds from the coast path, beach and slip way at Inner Hope Cove. There are sea views from most rooms and although it is spacious enough for 2 families it does not feel too large for couples or smaller groups. Hope Cove is an old fishing village nesting below Bolt Tail and surrounded by unspoilt National Trust land. There are 2 safe sand and stone beaches at Hope Cove which has a local post office and convenience store, pub, cafe and a number of small hotels. Hope Cove is a pretty fishing village in the South Hams area of South Devon, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is 5 miles from the market town of Kingsbridge, 5 miles from the sailing centre of Salcombe, 25 miles from Plymouth, 48 miles from Exeter and 25 miles from the A38 Expressway.
