town in a very popular destination. The chalet was built over 200 years ago, in 1803. The
apartment has been recently renovated and features a terrace, a balcony, and a lovely
panoramic view from the small garden. The chalet has a larger garden as well, which
preserves the privacy and quiet of the property despite its central location in the village.
Interlaken is situated between two lakes and snowcapped mountains in the heart of the
Bernese Oberland, right in the center of Switzerland. It is an excellent base for
a wide range of activities: skiing and hiking in some of the world's
most spectacular alpine landscapes, as well as explorations of the region's culture and
cuisine.
The apartment is on the second floor of a three-story chalet. It is
comfortably furnished and comprises four bedrooms (two double, two triple), two
bathrooms, a living room with a large library, TV, DVD, and Internet access, and
a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area next to an open fireplace. Additional
features: washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, garden seating, and a barbecue grill.
One-week minimum stay. Reduced rates for longer stays. Higher rates apply at
Christmas and New Year. Additional charge for final cleaning and local tax. A rare find
