Tennis/Golf/Walking/Cycling: There are four tennis clubs within close proximity. There are also eight golf courses, some of international renown. Two 3 par, eighteen hole courses very close by. There is also a sports facility with large swimming pools, restaurants, tennis and football facilities at Vizcondado de Cabaynes. Many footpaths cut through the surrounding forest and hillside. The area seems to be a magnet for the Tour de France look-alikes in the beautiful mountain roads that lead to Romanya and beyond. Many wonderful beaches, rocky coves. The area is famous for it's scuba diving and snorkelling. Clear blue waters and activities for both young and old.
Eating and Drinking: There are so many wonderful restaurants with fresh fish caught that day at very accessible prices. Many of the restaurants serve local Catalan specialities. A multitude of bars from the highly sophisticated to the local fisherman's tavern. The nightlife at both Palamos and Playa d' aro starts at midnight until dawn with enough nightclubs to cater for all tastes.
