Villa Maravela is well-suited for up to three couples, large parties and families. The position of this property is ideal for people that want to walk, rather than use the car to reach the beach, while the town is a 10 minute drive. Families with young children might find the uphill walking back from the beach challenging so a hired car is a good idea. Interior The main entrance opens into the living room with a traditionaly built wood burning fireplace, sofa and dining area. French windows opening onto the sea facing terrace with breathtaking views of the blue sea and the pine covered hills. The fully equipped "galley" kitchen can be accessed both from the living room and from a small hallway, and has French windows onto the side terrace. There are three twin bedrooms and a bathroom with WC and bathtub. Two of the bedrooms have views towards the pool and the sea. All three bedrooms have large wardrobes and are simply furnised with pine beds and side tables.The house is simply furnished and has tiled flooring throughout and is equipped with TV and stereo. Exterior This lovely pool villa is situated on the hill above Stafylos beach, approx. 4km from Skopelos town. It enjoys one of the best positions since it has uninterupted views to the sea and it is within walking distance from the beach. The kidney shape fresh water pool is found on the left of the villa with a spacious terrace for sunbathing.With the luxury of your own private pool you can take full advantage of the surrounding scenery and enjoy the sense of quiet only the countryside can offer while being close to Skopelos town. Surroundings There is a foot path starting from the villa, linking to the road down to the beach in approx. 10 minutes.You may also drive to the beach in 3-4 minutes. Car hire is not essential since the bus stop is a 10minutes walk and the bus service is regular. In the vicinity there are two restaurants and a small super market for essentials. The closest beach is Stafylos and Velanio reached either on foot or by car to Stafylos beach and then another 10minutes walk to Velanio.
