This luxurious villa is built on a sloping, 3 acre olive grove. The villa’s main level has an open patio, around which one has access to the living room with fireplace, a terrace with beautiful views of the sierra and Ronda, the dining room, a fully equipped designer kitchen, a powder room, and one guest room with bathroom. A hall way on an intermediate level provides access to two additional bedrooms each with bathroom. The master bedroom is located upstairs. It has a large bathroom and private roof terrace with gorgeous views. An additional bedroom which doubles as the TV and game room with sitting area and a bathroom is on the lower level. There is also a storage room and a utility room for washer, dryer, additional freezer, and refrigerator. A separate basement offers sauna, shower and gym. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for warmer weather, although the house is always pleasantly cool due to thick double walls and typically cool over night temperatures in the summer. The proprietors owned a well-known Spanish restaurant in Manhattan, so the ability to entertain friends and to enjoy fine cooking and dining were primary goals taken into consideration when this house was designed. The sloping garden blends into an olive grove with over 80 old olive trees and a vegetable garden near a small creek at the bottom of the property. The private, terraced pool area with a 10 by 4 meter salt water pool is located in the rear of the house. The pool has its own shower and bathroom building with kitchenette as well as a roofed bar area and grill for pool side barbecuing. The unheated pool is open from May till October.
