A renovated 18th-century farmhouse retaining some of its original features such as exposed stone walls and attractive ceiling beams, making a comfortable house.
The pool is fenced with views of fields and surrounding woodland. Built on different levels the house has a slight drop (about 1m) between the garden and the terrace outside the kitchen, so small children should be supervised.
The discreet owner may very occasionally stay in the far wing at end of the house. Ideal for those wishing to be in the country, it is near to Sarlat, with its narrow medieval streets and its famous Saturday market. The area is full of imposing châteaux, caves, delightful villages; and for the energetic, a day’s canoeing down the river is a must!
