Behind the villa you can see the ancient church famous throughout the world for the wonderful Chapel of Saint Francis, revered by art historians and a place that is often chosen for wedding celebrations by couples from all over the world. The garden of the villa is next to the famous "Villa Comunale" - an old public garden with centuries-old trees overlooking the cliffs and offering picture-postcard views. Sorrento is well-served by public transport both by sea and by land which are very convenient for visiting the best-known sights: Capri, Pompei, Naples, Positano, Amalfi.
On foot from the villa you can reach in just a few minutes some of the best restaurants in the town and every conceivable kind of shop, so we don't really advise you to bring a car, but close by there are public pay car parks.
