This beautiful property sits in a secluded and private position, high above the coastline at Praiano. Surrounded by large terraces with pots of palm trees and flowers, the villa has fantastic views over the sea towards Positano and Capri. The charming former fishing village of Praiano, with food shops, restaurants and bank, is 67 steps up the hill. About 150 metres from the villa, a pathway of steps takes you all the way down to the Praia Beach near the Saracen tower of Praiano. Here you can rent sunloungers and umbrellas and there is also a restaurant and bar. There are two car parking spaces about 100 metres away from the property which, if required, should be booked in advance. Impressive, yet blending perfectly with its natural surroundings, the villa is all white with arched windows and columns. The accommodation is on three floors, a main floor, a lower floor and a top tower, by the entrance gate, which is accessed independently. The first floor of the building (between the main floor and the tower) is kept closed. The entrance hall, on the main floor, is furnished with antiques, a marble table and a grand piano, and the comfortable living room with fireplace is also furnished with antiques. The dining room has a large glass-topped table, seating 12, and fragments of original Roman columns. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, except for the two tower bedrooms which share a bathroom. Amenities include TV and DVD in the six lower floor bedrooms, TV and stereo in the living area, air conditioning throughout and fast internet access. The rooms on the main level open to a terrace with covered and uncovered areas for dining or sitting and relaxing outdoors. Steps lead down from here to a wonderful sea water pool (18 x 5m, ladder access) set on a large terrace paved with natural stone and lined with white columns. There is also a shower, WC and a frigo-bar at this level. From the pool terrace there are incredible views of the sea, the coast and Li Galli islands. Furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas, there is an outdoor shower, and shade is provided in one corner by orange and lemon trees. The terrace and pool are lit up at night. Main Floor: Entrance hall. Large living room, with study area, opening to terrace. Dining room, opening to terrace. Well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer with ice-maker, large oven, microwave and dishwasher. Laundry. Lower Floor: 6 double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms (shower) and French doors opening to a terrace. One of the bedrooms can be made up as a twin bedroom on request, and this bedroom can interconnect to the bedroom next door, if required. Tower: Accessed by 25 steps up an external staircase or from the entrance gate. 2 bedrooms, one double bed, and French doors opening to a small balcony, and one twin bedroom. Both share a small bathroom (shower). Staff: The villa is staffed with two people who provide 4 hours maid service a day, and look after the garden and pool.
