This unique private house is located just a few minutes from the Grand Boulevards, the Opéra, and Montmartre. Even true Parisians remain fascinated by the Grands Boulevards, but don’t just stop at window-shopping, for the neighborhood has many other secrets to reveal. Don't miss the charming 9th arrondissement: it is a real crossroads concealing many treasures!
This 3350 sq./ft private residence occupies six levels and includes a living room, dining room with an open-plan kitchen, seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, two terraces and an interior elevator.
Completed in 2003, the building was designed in a loft style with white walls and concrete floors and ceilings, one side facing onto a very calm street side, and opposite, the other side overlooking a private courtyard.
Provided with a videophone, the main door opens into a small hall and then to a second door equipped with security code, which opens onto the elevator.
On the right side is the laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer, in addition to a washstand. The next door opens to the first 160 sq./ft bedroom, furnished with a double bed, a wall cupboard, a window and a French window looking out and giving access to the courtyard. This bedroom has its own shower room including a toilet.
To the left, colored plexiglass plates frame a first flight of waxed concrete steps climbing to the first floor. Here, the first 220 sq./ft bedroom is fitted out with a queensize bed, a closet, also featuring a private shower room with washbasin.
A large window facing the street lights the space. The following door serves the second bedroom with a bed for two guests, a closet, and also a bathroom.
A french window opens on to an 100 sq./ft terrace on the courtyard side.
The second level is almost identical to the first; the bedroom on the street side is very luminous, thanks to the south-exposed 13 ft x 8 ft picture window, the pleasant bedroom on the courtyard side has no terrace. Both bedrooms are provided with private shower rooms.
On the third floor, the first door opens to the 245 sq./ft master suite featuring a queensize bed, a desk, and 13 ft x 8 ft wall-to-wall closets. A sliding door gives access to the bathroom with bathtub, a washbasin, and a 6.5ft x 3.2 ft shower cabin. Adjacent to the master’s bedroom a large window giving on the courtyard illuminates the 120 sq./ft child’s bedroom, which includes a single bed.
On the fourth floor is the 620 sq./ft dining area featuring high ceilings, an oval dining table for ten guests, and an open kitchen equipped with four gas burners, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, a sizable worktop, dresser, china and all utensils.
This area is bathed with light thanks to the south-exposed 13 ft x 8 ft wall-to-wall window and an extra north exposed large window.
Finally on the fifth floor, the 375 sq./ft living-room has a 14 ft high mansard-roofed ceiling, fitted out with settees and armchairs.
It offers a decorative fireplace flanked by two large bookcases and gives access to a large 220 sq./ft terrace which offers pleasant views over the Parisian rooftops.
Every floor has double-glazeed windows, and, except the last floor, a separate toilet/WC next to the elevator.
Moreover, there are three cordless telephones, three TVs (two are portable and the other one can be moved as well). There is cable in one of the bedrooms, two VCRs and DVD players, and a stereo. A computer with DSL and WI-FI Internet connection is available.
