This large oceanfront estate is set on 16 secluded acres just outside Governors Harbor on Eleuthera. The estate enjoys a dream location, complete with a pool, pink sand beach, and gorgeous views. Nestled in the east lawn between the house and the ocean is the 25-foot by 50-foot freshwater pool. The pool has a built-in seat so one can enjoy a cocktail while relaxing in the cool water. This area is quite secluded and has a lanai with a full wet bar and refrigerator, including dining tables, pool, and beach chairs, umbrellas, and lounges. The ocean is about 100 yards down the path. The estate is located directly on a gorgeous pink sand beach. This is one of the most magnificent beaches in the Bahamas and one rarely sees another person. A short walk down the beach are some great diving reefs so one never has to leave the property, you can even dive for your dinner. There are some lovely restaurants in the area, so if you prefer, make reservations.There are some truly fun and interesting restaurants on the island. A palapa on the beach offers shade. In this exclusive area, there are only large estates along the beach, ensuring your privacy. Gemini estate offers a total of 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The property includes a main villa, plus guest annex and two separate guest cottages. The main villa has been recently refurbished and features 4 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 1 twin), all with private bathrooms and glass sliding doors overlooking the sea. The villa includes a living/dining room (with TV, DVD and CD players) and a fully equipped, new professional kitchen with 5-burner gas range, electric/convection oven, microwave, 2 dishwashers, a huge refrigerator, and plenty of gadgets. All rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning. The main villa features an ocean-view terrace and a second terrace in a walled garden; both terraces seat at least 14. One of the terraces includes an outdoor kitchen with gas and charcoal barbecue grills and a bar. Adjoining the main house is a charming guest annex with 2 single beds and bath, and a guest cottage with 1 twin bedroom, full bathroom, sitting area with sofabed, kitchen (with stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher), laundry room, covered front porch, and sun terrace. A short walk from the main villa is another guest cottage, high on a hill overlooking the Atlantic. This cottage offers a king-size bed, full bathroom, sitting room, and fully equipped kitchenette (with microwave), plus a covered front porch and a sun terrace with outdoor furniture. Sat.-Sat. rentals. Maid service 5 days/week. Caretaker/gardener. Bikes and canoe available.
