This stunning house, built in what is known in Asturias as the ‘Indiano’ style, has been restored by the owners to provide wonderful accommodation. As beautiful from the outside as it is inside, the house has been exquisitely decorated and furnished with antiques, in keeping with the period architecture. Situated in Nueva de Llanes, once voted the prettiest Asturian village, 1.5 km from the nearest beach of Cuevas del Mar, the house and its extensive grounds are surrounded by a stone wall and are bordered on one side by a small trout river. Casa Cueva is in a quiet lane of this sleepy hamlet and is within walking distance of the village’s various bars and restaurants where typical Asturian cuisine is provided. Although the village is near the coast (there are more then 30 beaches along this stretch), inland, the rich countryside and the Picos de Europa mountain range provide plenty of activities such as fishing, climbing and golf. The house has 3 floors. On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, vitro ceramic hob, electric oven, washing machine, dryer and microwave. There is a conservatory style dining room with a small living area off it, and two larger sitting rooms, one with its own fireplace. There is a ground floor separate WC. Stairs lead from the spacious entrance hall to the first floor where three bedrooms are situated; all of them have twin beds and all of them have their own bathroom/WC. Another room is used to store linen and can be used as an ironing room. On the second floor, are two further spacious twin bedrooms each with their own bathroom/WC. The house is equipped with TV and stereo equipment. Outside, the well cared for gardens, totalling 3,000 square metres, have large lawned areas and fruit trees. Garden furniture is also provided.
