This is the place to enjoy peace and quiet in real style. Built by a wealthy Jerez family as a weekend residence, it stands on their 150 hectare (350-400 acres) working farm, where guests are welcome to wander freely amid the herds of cattle (safe ones!) and deer. The house itself is quite superb, with too many highlights to describe in detail here. Outside is a large, beautifully-furnished covered porch, an ornamental garden and an enclosed pool.
The estate is about 15 km east of Jerez de la Frontera in Spain's southernmost province, close to either of the Jerez exits from the A4 motorway. It extends between the small towns of Jedula and La Barca de la Florida, quite close to the tournament golf course at Montecastillo and the Jerez motor-racing circuit. The nearest airport is Jerez, but Seville, Gibraltar and Malaga (all within two hours' drive) may offer a better choice of flights.
