Surrounding Villa Berlini the villages and hamlets scattered about the mountains step down through terraced gardens and an ancient valley (the Valley of the Mills) towards the sea and Amalfi. Nearby Atrani and Minori are the oldest villages on the Amalfi Coast. These landscapes with their wonderful scenery were often celebrated in paintings, watercolors and prints by the travelling romantics of the 1800s. This is the spectacular scene that presents itself when you arrive at Villa Berlini. The villa is just 2 kms from Ravello, it is on three levels that match the terraces in the surrounding garden. Villa Berlini stands next to a Romanesque church which dates back to early Christian times, and it is flanked by a cloister that in the old days was a laboratory for the cultivation of medicinal herbs. The tranquillity and scenic landscape make this villa the ideal place for a relaxing holiday but without giving up the most modern creature comforts: satellite-TV, air conditioning in the living-room and in the bedrooms, internet WI-FI connection, washing-machine, dishwasher. This is also an ideal spot for those who would like to attend the concert season which is held every year at Ravello during the Wagner festival. The nearest beach is a Atrani, about 7 kms away.
