Villa Castara is a beautiful 3-bedroom villa with private pool, located near
the sleepy fishing village of Castara on the tranquil Caribbean coast of Tobago. The
villa overlooks picturesque Englishman's Bay and is within walking distance of the
beach. This area is considered the most tranquil and loveliest on the island; the villa
sits on a ridge, surrounded by three acres of lush, manicured gardens and orchards.
The panoramas from the huge wrap-around veranda are truly
breathtaking, from the turquoise of the Caribbean to the deep greens of the rain
forest. The swimming pool (15' x 35') is surrounded by a large patio with a lovely
array of flowers and shrubs. The villa also offers a large assortment of outdoor
chairs and lounges, an outdoor shower, and two oversized hammocks in the cool
shade of the veranda, where you can enjoy the wonderful views and delightful
birdsongs.
Activities: Three of Tobago's best beaches are
within five minutes of the estate. The best of these, Englishman's Bay, is just down
the hill and was recently named one of the world's best beaches by Conde
Nast. It is uncrowded, unspoiled, and undeniably lovely. Some of Tobago's best bird
watching and hiking can be found in the immediate area. Other activities, such as
golf, sailing, diving, or sport fishing, are a reasonable drive away. The villa's

Castara accommodates up to 8 and includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a "great
room" (living/dining), and fully equipped kitchen and laundry room with all new,
modern appliances. Two of the bedrooms have both full and twin beds and ensuite
bath. The third bedroom features two twin beds, and there are two full-sized futon
beds in the spacious great room. Amenities: All linen; daily maid service.
Satellite TV, VCR, DVD and CD players; large library of movies; board games and
books. The villa also has snorkel gear and golf clubs.
