The apartment, built in 1851, has been completely refurbished with modern conveniences, yet maintains its beautiful original tile work and characteristic rustic beams.
Each room is colourful, warm and inviting. Facing the street is a large bedroom with double bed and balcony that leads to a large living room and study. There you will find two large doors leading to a narrow balcony, for a relaxing evening after a busy Barcelona afternoon. There is an additional bedroom with two single beds and two pull out beds, which makes sleeping spaces for a total of six guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a table for two and there is one bathroom with a shower.
The apartment is located on the first floor and does not have an elevator.
Please note that the entrance and the stairs in this building have only been partially restored.
The apartment is right in the centre of the Gothic quarter, two blocks from Las Ramblas and the Liceu Theatre. As soon as you step out onto the street, you will find many bars, restaurants, and shops within a few minutes walking distance. Get your fruit and veggies from Boqueria Market. A short 10-minute walk will take you to the traditional and picturesque Borne, an area full of art and artists, history and the famous Picasso Museum. Another advantage to this apartment is its proximity to the beach and harbour – just a 10-minute walk away. The area is known for its many restaurants, bars and shops.
The closest subway stops are Metro Liceu and Drassanes.
