The French owners have recently renovated this charming little house, making it a perfect hideaway for those seeking a very relaxing holiday in rural surroundings.
Situated off a quiet country lane in the Coyevinas area, the house is dominated by two gigantic oak trees at the front and two spectacular agave plants at the back. Originally a little shepherd’s cottage, Pagos displays a successful blend of rustic and modern décor, with beamed ceilings throughout and the original old cooking corner preserved in the kitchen.
The surroundings are pleasingly natural, grassy, with a great variety of well-established trees, plants and wild flowers. It is only a few minutes walk down the lane to the beach at Coyevinas, while an excellent range of water sports is available nearby at Avlaki, with ideal conditions for windsurfing and a dinghy sailing centre. Kassiopi with its more sophisticated shops and entertainments is a short drive away, but a 20 minute stroll to a nearby shop for fresh bread, local honey and yoghurt, would make an excellent start to the day.
