This elegant and spectacular villa is warm, inviting and spacious. It lies at the entrance of a charming 15th century village located minutes away from the historic city of Avignon. During your stay you will be able to enjoy the beauty of Provence where culture, fine dining and shopping await, in a quiet and privileged environment. The villa is situated in a park like setting of tall trees and beautiful flowers surrounding the swimming pool (11x5m). The inside is decorated and furnished with style and refinement. The vast reception rooms are greatly enlightened by a large patio/courtyard, full of flowers and green plants surrounded on four sides with living room, family room and bedrooms opening onto the patio. Your day can be filled with sight seeing, relaxing by the pool, and dining under the stars at night in the courtyard. The countryside is at a short walking distance from the property, and so are convenience stores, bakers, patisseries and gourmet restaurants. During your stay, you will be able to visit the world famous Roman bridge 'le Pont du Gard' (20 km away), the Roman city Nimes (30 km away), the city of Orange -well known for its opera festival- and the cities of Saint Remy de Provence, Les Baux de Provence, l'Isle sur la Sorgues (famous for its antiques stores), Aix en Provence and Marseilles. Being close by the Cotes du Rhone vineyards -including world renown Chateauneuf du Pape- guests at the villa will greatly enjoy wine tasting. A city bus stops a few meters away from the house, which will allow you to go to Avignon within 10 minutes without even taking your car.
