Divided into two, both the main house and the cottage have been lovingly restored and are attractive, private, comfortable and stylish, with great character.
Situated on the edge of the Ria Formosa Park in a hamlet of , with a cultural centre hosting art exhibitions and concerts, Quinta dei Limon is also close to Almancil and the prestigious resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Where possible, original features have been retained and blend with the new additions; for example, the house has the original pole and cane roof, modern, comfortable furniture and a log burning fireplace. There is also central heating making this an ideal choice for early, late or winter bookings. The large state of the art kitchen, with granite work surfaces and modern appliances retains the original chimney and stove.
The owners have given much attention to detail and this is reflected in the high standard of the tasteful furnishings and fittings throughout the property. The tiling is lovely and the curtains and bed covers are beautiful. The mattresses in the twin rooms are zip linked and can be made up as super king size beds. There is a terrace off the living/dining room with a large table, comfortably seating ten.
The pool is surrounded by wide terraces, with a gazebo in the large garden and colourful flowerbeds beyond an attractive built-in barbeque. There are lots of indoor games and a good book and video selection in the house for both children and adults.
NB The cottage will not be available for groups of 6 or less.
