Maison Canneau is a 18th century wine-maker's house, set on two floors (approximately 2045 square feet ).
It can accommodate up to six adults in three bedrooms plus two children or teen agers in a sofa bed (in the family room upstairs).
The renovation completed in 2005 preserved the character of the cottage while making it as comfortable as any contemporary home, with broadband wireless Internet connection, Finnish heating system and SAUNA, washer & separate dryer among other amenities.
The ground floor is composed of a large living and dining room that open to a joint kitchen with a bar stand, two bedrooms, a full bathroom plus a powder room with a toilet and basin, and a laundry room.
The third bedroom is upstairs and has a double bed under the rooftop. It is lightened with two dormer windows and is en suite with another full bathroom that has a bathtub.
The bedroom also opens into a library.
On this same floor, there is a family room with a flat-screen TV and sound system.

Ground Floor The two full bathroom are large and very comfortable by international standards.The bathroom on the 1st floor has a bathtub with shower, W/C, lavabo.The bathroom on the ground floor has a large shower cabin (no bathtub), lavabo, cabinets and W/C. In addition, there are 2 cloakrooms (one on each floor) with lavabo and W/C. That is a total of 3 W/C in the cottage.
All are equipped with top of the line hardware and cutting edge amenities and faucets (Villeroy & Boch, etc).

It has a queen size bed. The two other bedrooms are on the ground floor (First Floor North American). One features a queen size bed. The other one has two full size beds. In addition to regular beds in the bedroom, a sofa-bed for two maybe be used as an extra bed for kids in the family room.

The cottage sits amidst fields, woods and vineyards near a small hamlet of four units. It is a very tranquil location though it is only 15 Km from the city of Blois and 10 Km from the famous Chateau de Cheverny.
The cottage is close (about one mile) to a charming village with all the basic facilities, including a bakery. Paris is 195 km (or 122 miles) away from the house and the city of Tours 75km (or 47 miles). The closest supermart is only 10 minutes drive from the property. This is the perfect gateway to major Renaissance Landmarks in the Central Loire Valley area, such as the Grand Chateaux of Blois, Chambord, Amboise or Chenonceau, and Clos-Luce, a mansion where Leonardo Da Vinci spent his last years, all located in a 40km/25 miles radius from the property. Playing golf at the Cheverny Golf Course', flying over the region in a hot air balloon or hunting in Sologne are among so many activities this area can offer. This is also a place for wine and food enthusiasts.
