Villa Delikatona
sleeps up to: 12
A narrow country road from Nidri, on the east coast, climbs a hillside of olive and citrus groves for three kilometres to reach a small village. From here the road passes through an even smaller village and continues up the side of Mount Stavrotas. A traditional and unhurried way of life survives in these villages and donkeys are the favoured means of transport.
Villa Delikatona stands above the little-used village road between Paliokatouna and Neochori and has magnificent panoramic views over the offshore islands of Skorpios, Skorpithi, Sparti, Madouri, Meganissi and the mountains of the mainland and southern Lefkas. Built in local stone, Villa Delikatona comprises two separate floors of identical accommodation with modern facilities and comfortable furnishings.
The pool terraces and villa balconies command stunning views and a shelf-seat at the deep end of the pool allows guests to enjoy the views partly submerged.
Car hire is included in the holiday cost. A taverna on the way to Neochori village is an uphill walk of two minutes and the taverna at the village is a downhill walk of five minutes. Nidri, a drive of ten minutes, has a varied selection of shops, tavernas and bars and a watersports centre and boat hire.
Accommodation: Both floors have one double bedroom, en suite bathroom with shower; two twin-bedded rooms; bathroom with shower; open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine/dryer, leading to balconies and pool terraces. Air-conditioning throughout; TV/DVD & CD player; bedroom hairdryers; heated swimming pool; barbecue.
