With origins dating back to the 15th century and restored over the years to a high standard, this beautiful Manoir is situated in a very quiet location . The town (4km) also offers a good selection of shops, services and supermarkets. The charming town of Nevers with its winding medieval streets is just 14km away; it has a twice-weekly market. There are good restaurants in both towns. One can taste the delicious wines of Sancerre (74km), and the National Park of the Morvan is 115km away. There are public tennis courts nearby in a village (3km) as well as river swimming and fishing, horse riding at Imphy (8km) with riding possible in the forest of Bertranges, and canoeing 5km away on the River Loire. The property enjoys a quiet and isolated position set in three hectares of its own grounds. There are lovely open views from all sides of the surrounding rolling fields and countryside. The 3000sqm garden is completely enclosed. The interior is quite stunning and beautifully decorated in a mixture of styles borrowed from the many places the owners have visited - Tahiti, Morocco, Cap Ferret, Santiago. The ground floor of the Manoir boasts no less than five fireplaces with plenty of space for relaxing: a living room, a dining room, a living/dining room off the kitchen, and a room fully-equipped for home cinema. On the first floor are three double bedrooms and two double bedrooms on the second floor, each with either an en suite bathroom with a wc or an en suite shower room with a wc. The barn consists of a large living area with an American-style kitchen and a double sofabed on the ground floor, and two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a wc on the first floor. A smaller building, contains a living area (with small fridge and breakfast crockery) on the ground floor and a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a wc on the first floor.
